i been looking at different cars from fellow f-body owners in my neiborhood, now after the elbow there is some kind of metal sensor with plastic and in my lt1 there is nothing. it is just the elbow and after that the k&n cai. and one sensor connected to the elbow. please help!

You have '93, speed density, you don't need MAF

 

That sensor is a MAF=Mass Air Flow sensor. 93's dont have them as they use speed density.
