Pan clearance w/tubular K

Does the aftermarket pan clearance improve any with the addition of a tubular K-member? I am going to add a BMR tubular K soon and while I had it all apart I was wanting to use maybe a Stefs Pan (the aluminum one commonly seen) will this clear or would another deep pan be better (I have LT hookers to clear as well).

Please someone chime in here, I am trying to get the parts together and dont want to have to do alot of customising when I get it apart, a little wont bother me thought, I just dont want to pay a load of cash for a pan and have to butcher it to get it to work.

My Canton oil pan almost rubbed a hole thru it by contacting what I originally thought was the pan hitting my k-member. So I called BMR and had them make me a k-member with an extra 1/2" drop. I am glad I did because I have maybe a 1/2" clearence between the pan and the k-member and a 1/4" between the pan and the rack.

It was the rack that was wearing out my pan.

I just got my Canton oil pan and threw it in with my motor this weekend. Fits PERFECT!! No mods nothing. This is the Canton 242T revised pan. If you get one, make sure its that one and not the old style. I didn't even have to make bends for the knock sensor! Nice pan.

O yeah and its made to go with long tubes.
