Re: Pacesetters LT's...Issues....

Almost finished with my install except I still have a leak on the drivers side flange and when I fire it up the motor will rev to 1500 rpm then go down to 500 and almost die then go back up and so on. Will an exhaust leak cause this reving up and down or is it something else?

Just curious, how are you installing the header on the passenger side? From the top or the bottom?

Mine went in pretty easily from the bottom.

I originally attempted to get my passenger side header in from the bottom, but the AIR and A/C lines made it very difficult. I gave up, popped off the valve cover and alternator and slid it right in through the top in a matter of minutes.

I had zero issues with my Pacesetter LTs. Install went PERFECT and have no complaints whatsoever to this day. I havent touched those bolts since I put them in and I have no leaks at all.

I used high quality stage 8 bolts, hi quality Fel-pro gaskets, and switched to poly motor mounts to keep the motor from torquing over.
