Pacesetter shortys

Wondering how hard was the install for you guys who installed the shortys? How is plug access? Do u still use stock wire routing, and factory O2 sensors? or do you need 02 extensions on these?

I know these are not the best choice among most of you, but money is tight for me and i can get them fairly cheap...

Any tips on anything please let me know!!!

Thanks Guys!

Re: Pacesetter shortys

I've had mine on for two years. As with any header on the f-body it is a big under taking to do. They go on pretty well.....getting the old stuff off is always the challenge... Yes stock O2's will work just fine....wires can run pretty much in stock location except for #7. Boot to tube was so close I ran that one up over valve cover. It is the best time to do plugs and wires since you are in there. When installing, take alternator, starter, tensioner pulley off....makes things much easier. Dipstick tube has to come out also. Passenger side comes up from bottom, drivers side goes in from top. Oh yeah....buy a case of band-aids you'll need them.
