Pacesetter mids with mufflex catback? worth it???

Im pulling off my pacesetter mids to cut the air pipe thing off and have them chrome coated, anyway i have a magnaflow catback on there now and dont really care for the sound at all. I have a chance to get a mufflex 4in catback, is it worth it, also I would get a new custom ypipe to mate to the catback as the pacesetter ypipe does not seal correctly.... I dont really see a need to goto longtubes and in all reality i couldnt because i am lowered so I would basically bang everything. What do you guys think, 4in catback with 1-5/8 mids???? or should I got 2.5 in hpipe duals??? I am a stock headed cam car, i have intentions of getting ported heads in the future just not right now
