Pacesetter LT questions

Hey fellas,

I ordered a set of Pacesetter LT's, O2 extenstions, and Pacesetter off road y-pipe from Speed Engineering. They asked if I wanted the square or flat O2 extenstions, and I said flat. Is that right? My car is a 95 TA with OBD1 ( No O2's behind cat converter ).

Re: Pacesetter LT questions

Flat=front, square=rear which you don't have in the first place

You got the right ones. What length did you get? I just got some 24 inch long ones for my pacesetters and they are about a foot or more, too long.

I just used some zip ties to take care of the slack in them, connected them to some other wires to keep them out of the way of everything, and tied them fairly tight so they didnt land on my collectors/primaries.

Oh, by the way, Good luck with the install. Mine went very very smoothly. After I had everything off that you take off to remove the stock manifolds, or exhisting headers, It took maybe five mintues a piece with one person under the car and one on top to get each header in place and a few bolts started. Much easier install than my Mac Mids I had previously.

Man, nightmare revisited. Wish mine had been that easy.

Re: Pacesetter LT questions

While your doing your header install might as well do your motor mounts. Mine were really worn out and we pretty saggy causing the motor to sit out of allignment. I changed mine after I installed my headers and it was hard to get to a few of the bolts. Just a thought. Makes it 10 times easier while you have the extra room under there. Good luck and remember to take plenty of beer breaks
