Just got mine today. Going to have them nickle coated, but just thought i would show them off since not too many pictures of them out there yet.
Replacing my hookers b/c they are all rusty.
Will let keep all updated on install ease, plug access etc

Cant compare to jet hot. Compared to my hookers, they are a TON heavier. Much thicker flanges and tubing.
Welds arent great, but they dont go into the primary so IM not too worried about it.
Up top on the flanges, i would perfer it to be decked flush with the flange, but they arent. Hopefully they will seal well still, if not ill have them milled flat.
For the price, cant go wrong. I got them at texas-speed.

yeahI've played with some pacesetter shorties, I can't say I would reccomened that brand at all LOL! As for the long tubes flange not being good I would get them milled to begin with, couldn't be more than 20 or 30 bucks and it would save having to pull them to get it done which would be worth twice that much.
Let us know how this works out- I'm looking at these as well, I'm really interested in the fit and clearance for the starter/oil pan/floor/ground. My car is 1+ inch lowered, and I'm concerned about running LT headers.
BTW, excellent header write up in Chevy High Performance this month (page 88, April 2004 issue)- they tested Flowtech 1&1/2" versus Hooker 1&5/8", 1&3/4", and 1&7/8" inch headers (all were LT except the 1&1/2") and had some interesting results. This was done on a "440HP/TQ" carbed 383 CID gen 1 SBC motor. Didn't see a link on their website, so I'll summarize the tests here for average and peak HP & Torque:
1&1/2": TQ: 437 HP: 371 Peak TQ: 461 @ 4100 Peak HP: 435 @ 5600
1&5/8": TQ: 436 HP: 372 Peak TQ: 468 @ 4400 Peak HP: 441 @ 5400
1&3/4": TQ: 438 HP: 375 Peak TQ: 467 @ 4500 Peak HP: 449 @ 5600
1&7/8": TQ: 438 HP: 374 Peak TQ: 459 @ 4400 Peak HP: 451 @ 5700
The 1&5/8" lost a bunch of TQ low end.

Info from the Ebay auction
The company selling these on Ebay is Redline Performance Engineering. I have not heard of them, so I went to their Pacesetter LT1 header page , and they had this info posted about the Pacesetter LT1 LT headers:
These are selling for $420 uncoated with the OR y-pipe w/ free shipping on Ebay, or $415 ($289 headers + $126 y-pipe) plus shipping for the same stuff on their website. They also offer the headers for $375 coated on the website.
I would like to find someone that has these installed so as to get a decent review of them. If in fact they are engineered as stated above, they should not have the associated problems of other LT headers.

Here at RPE we have spent many hours with pacesetter on the strict guidelines and build specifications on these headers. The outcome with a leading manufacture of headers and a F-Body specialized shop, is one of the best LT1 long tube headers on the market today!! Where else can you buy a long tube header and still keep your AIR and EGR fittings for visual emissions inspections?? NO where but pacesetter!! Why get stuck with the known fitment issues of other brands, when you can buy a perfectly fitting header the first time around.

after reading about these headers, and checking out some pics, i think i am also going to go with a set. How much are you paying for coating atljar? There is a shop about 20minutes from me that does ceramic coatings.
