pacesetter longtubes w/ dual cats

any one with pace setter longtubes and have an exhaust shop fab up a dual cat y pipe? or any type of dual cat y pipe? how was the ground clearance with that setup?? the way i am picturing it in my head is that the cat on the driver side would be hanging low....?? pics would be good, if you got them, thank you.

I have a dual cat x-pipe on mine. (I was out to sea and they snuck it past my wife...extra money, you know.)
Anyway, no real clearance issues, at least not more than any longtube setup.
I'm at sea again, so I can't send you pics right now.

Re: pacesetter longtubes w/ dual cats

I have the pacesetter longtubes with a pacesetter ORY. I had Joel at Rathmotorsports fab in 2 dynatech powercat high flow cats in there. All I can say is the ground clearance isn't bad at all and looks awesome. The dynatech cats are only 4" in diameter so it isn't much bigger then the 3" cat itself. It almost looks like it came from the factory it's that clean. When I get home from work I will try to get some pics for ya.

Thanks
Kevin

I dont see how you guys are moving your cats without pissing off the emissions police. I just got a 97 Z28 and since I live in Az I was told I couldnt/shouldnt move them. Before coming here i was concerned. But can they be moved without failing? And if so whats the best way since I hear LT's will give me the best performance.

Rather or not you can remove or move your cats is something you will have to do some research on. These laws vary from state to state. If you are fortunate (such as myself ) and live in Michigan start tearing away....

Rumor has it here in AZ you can get away with moving the cats, as long as they are there then ive heard you are ok.

I guess ill find out next august when i go for emissions testing. I need to have a dual cat y-pipe rigged up too.
