Re: Pacesetter headers question

without 02 sensors your car will run full rich.. it will be slower than stock manifolds... If you get it tuned pcm4less or madz28, you can mark that your 02s are deleted, and your car will run fine.

Re: Pacesetter headers question

You DO need the front 02 sensors for a variety of reasons, good streetability, emissions, and fuel economy are some of them. The rear 02 sensors are the ones that can be deleted from the PCM programming as their function is to only monitor the efficiency of the catalytic converters. I would buy a pair of 02 sensor bungs, drill the appropriate sized hole, weld in the bungs, and mount your 02 sensors.

Re: Pacesetter headers question

If they are not near the collectors then they should be in the Y pipe. If you didnt buy the Y pipe and wanted to make your own then you will have to weld in some bungs for the O2 sensors.

Re: Pacesetter headers question

I have Pace Setter LTs and I have a 2 catted Y-pipe that I welded up myself.

My buddy here at work gave me a couple of nuts that he had laying around that are the same thread as an O2 bung.

I welded those into the Y-pipe at about the same place as the O2 location on the stock Y-pipe.

I extended all 4 O2 sensor wires and have everything hooked up. No SES lights in 2+ years
