Mine does this too. Ever has since the first install. I removed the Y pipe, and gave it a second try. Its definatly not a leak, cause if I put my hands over both the tail pipes, it still doesnt sound like a leak sounds. Its something I've heard on several other LT1 cars as well.

yeah i noticed mine does this too. i dont think its a leak, my guess is its just noise coming from the collectors where the 4 primarys meet, but i could be wrong.

Re: pacesetter ? again

Thats interesting, Wonder what thats all about. I didnt notice it on mine, but then again, I was too caught up on the welds being nice for 400$ coated headers lol ... And super thick flanges. My only gripe about these headers is if you dont drive your car through the winter, the coating wants to flake off on the collectors pretty fast ( Like a year year and a half or so ) But for 400$ coated, in 10 years when they rot out I could just buy a new set, and they will still fit better than 900$ Kooks do.

Mine tick too. Someone said it is due to the thinner guage metal used on teh Pacesetters, but I'm not sure.
