Re: Pace Setter Mid Headers?

i love mine. only problem and i havent fixed it yet is leaky headers. i had mine coated and asked the guys that coated them to run them on a sander to straighten the flanges. they said they did but apparently they didnt. i have leaks on all 8 cylinders...but all i gotta do is remove them and rum them on a big belt sander.

i'd rather go mids than LT. i had a set of LT's and i went with the mids. they make decent power and have plenty of clearance for plug/wire issues and you dont have to move any fuel/brake lines. you can also be street legal with them...mine came with a CARB sticker.

Re: Pace Setter Mid Headers?

I didn't have to relocate any fuel/brake lines with my Pacesetter LTs... clearance is one of the shining aspects of the Pacesetter line of LTs. I think mids though are a great choice of header for those who have to remain in compliance with emissions, I wish I would have went that route as the long tubes were a major pain to pass inspection. They still provide a very nice power gain and are not to far off pace with the long tubes.

Re: Pace Setter Mid Headers?

What do you mean gaskets sealed up? Did they leek bad or did you just have to get the right gaskets? What did you use for header bolts? That is a low count THANKS for your input!!
