Thats the short one. I believe the long one is HP-3001 or 3002.

Unless the number has been changed, HP-2002 is the short one. I have it in front of me.

it is definetly the HP-2002 but I use the HP-3002 ( long filter)

Yeah the one for LT1's is HP-2002. K&N oil filters supposedly outflow most other filters but dont filter quite as well either. Thats what i have heard.

That is true - however, LT1s can allow whatever it filters without a problem - so sacrificing some filtration for better flow is nothing but a positive.

i use the 3002 w/ no probs, easy to put on/take off with the 1 inch nut also

same here, add between 5-5 1/4 quarts

2002 is stock size, 3002 is longer....if you forget, just look it up there or remember the last year of the 4th gen Camaro.
