Overloads After Head Gasket Replacement.... HELP
Thank god for this site!!!!! I am new to LT1's and EFI..... You guy's have helped me out a ton already with other issues!!! THANKS.
Had to replace blown head gasket. Have zero experience with newer cars, so I marked marked every connection and hose pretty well (I thought) as I disassembled.
The car had a a rich tune to start off with. I was palnning on having it professionally tunned down the road. It has 55# injectors, which I know is a bit steep, but was told it could be tuned to work.
The car idles, but when you drive the car it overloads and dies. When you try to restart, black and little bit of white smoke comes out the tail pipes. Like I said the car was on the rich side before, but it never overloaded, or burned your eyes when idling in the garage.
Almost seems as the fuel pressure is too high..... Is it normal to feel a pulse and a clicking sound from the fuel line??
