I would agree that these seem to be normal operating ranges, except for the fact that it never has run this hot in several years since the heads cam install. Seems to be an odd fluctuation, and abnormal. I was told that the fans were set to come on @ 160, and yes, they basically run all the time, this is why I am concerned about the hot spikes I am getting. I'm going to lean towards the flush idea and see how that goes.

The car is running an OBD1 conversion ECM programmed by MTI several years ago. Like I say, usually runs @ 170 or so even in 100 degreee houston weather.
