I have a 96 Z28 and I had overheating issues. Dealership told me it was the water pump and wanted $800 to change it out for me. I went to Auto Zone and bought one for $80 and changed it myself. Hate the dealership!Anyways, that still didn't solve it. Turns out my PCM module was bad and it wasn't sending a signal to the fans to turn on. Got a new custom PCM for $150 plus a little more power.
