Overheating????

Overheating????

ok im lost and i dont know what to do know. abuot a week ago my car started to overheat but when it did my a light showed up in the left corner then it went away. then my stearing became difficult to turn, and when it started to overheat it only went to 180-210, then the next day 210-and up and now whenever i start it it only takes a few mintues before it overheats. also my heat stopped working when it started to overheat. i changed the thermostat, and the waterpump, i checked the relays and fuses, the cooling fans work, what else could it be. if anyone knows please help me im trying to trouble shoot. thanks josh

Sound like you water pump might have taken a crap, did ya check the coolent level in the rad. ? Try to look under the water pump to see if you can tell if its leaking?

Double check all that you've already done, too. Check the condition of the pump and thermo. Did you bled the system of all air pockets? How about the water temperature sensor on the pump, is that connected? Did you replace that with new?

ok found the problem, i had to bleed the system after changing the waterpump, aft letting the car run for about 10 min i bled the system and soon after that everything was working fine. thanks josh
