Prices vary... black header coating is the least expensive and cures the fastest. $40... Header wrap is relatively cheap - $20.

I haven't checked out the prices lately but I'm sure they have changed.

i dont really like header wrap, since they are a big time fire hazard...at least that's what i heard

Header wrap doesn't burn... lol. It does smoke like a pot head when it first cures and smells like burning doo doo. But after that, it's fine.

people say, that if some oil drop on it, it's gonna be a big time fire hazard.....dunno if this is true or not....

Well, let's crack a 12 pack, cut a 3" piece of header wrap, pour oil on it and lite it up. Can't beat testing... could be fun.

Yeah, dirt and grease can build up. No doubt. If it's leaking oil then there are other worries too. I'd still like to burn it..
