Overflow catch can and Battery relocation

Im having my new engine built and was wondering if using one of the summit catch cans to replace the overflow would work well. Also How did you guys run your wires. for those who have put the battery in the trunk, is it worth it.

Re: Overflow catch can and Battery relocation

I tried putting my battery in the back, I used 4 gauge wire and apparently that wasn't enough. I had the length on the wire pretty short- put the battery box where the rear seat bottom bucket was but it still wasn't working. I also tried a few different grounding combinations to rule that out with no change in performance. I believe Summit and others sell a relocation kit that comes with either 2 or 0 gauge wire, and I believe 0 gauge would be the way to go. The best way would be to run your cable on the passenger side and pop through the firewall at the large grommet behind the PCM.

If ya go to the hatch use 0/00 wire to get the juice up front.
