over valve cover wire kits

I was going to order an over-the-valve-cover spark plug wire kit from thunderracing.com. I think its taylor. I was wondering if anyone had pics of the wires on the front of the motor from the optispark to the valve cover on the passenger side? It looks pretty tight there, and I don't want any interference with the serp. belt. Thanks in advance.

Thats fine. Thats exactly what I wanted to see. It looks like thats were the factory wires went behind the power steering pump. Thats where I was planning to run them, but I haven't purchased the kit yet and was worried about whether or not there was enough wire to run it through there.
On a side not I really like the way your intake manifold looks. I've seen that "paint job" in acouple other pics too of peoples motors. Where did you get that done? Or did you do it yourself? Looks great!

Thanks. It's a LT4 intake manifold.

I have had both MSDs and Taylors. Both are fine wires.

Is there another ovc set that is better? What makes them junk, if you don't mind me asking?

Any universal wire set with 90* boots will work, just make sure you get the ones you have to cut and crimp yourself. You'll also need to buy opti ends for the wires.

The Taylor wires are fine. I haven't had a problem with them. And BOTH of my cars have the OVC setup with them.

I've had taylors and they arc'd on everything they touched. i had to wrap them in 3/8 rubber hose where ever they touched the valve cover or they would arc. My friend had the same problem with his taylors. We both switched to MSD and problem solved.

I just walked in the door from putting on my taylor OVC wire kit i got from thunderracing....very straight forward install and no problems at all...started right up and everything is fine
Looks good...but, there is alot of slack on the wires since i didnt cut them, but other than that its alot better than running normal wires

That's interesting. I'm running the Taylor's but I'll have to keep that in mind.

What's the part number for the universal MSD kit with the one end left open & the other end already having the 90 degree plug boots on?
