Question Over the valve Cover Plug wire? - Pics?

Anyone have a preference about over-the-valve cover plug wire routing?

Thunder racing has a set of wires and looms for $99.

Any pictures of their setup?

Thanks,

James

This is just my opion, and may differ from many other guys on here. But I really dislike my OVC looms. I wish I would have never bought them. I got bored of them a few days after I installed them. Big waste of money. That and they were a PITA to in stall on the Passenger side. Just a word of advice. If you get them good luck with the install.

I did mine last week and couldnt agree more. They are good at keeping the wires where they need to go, but the absoultely SUCK to install. Made for you......more like made to screw you My recommendation, find a different route....not worth the hassle!!!!

Really... I wouldn't think they could be worse than the stock looms. I keep getting burned wires on my Edelbrock shorties and though this might be the answer.

May have to rethink this.

Any other thoughts out there?

I've been very satisfied with my OVC wire setup. I'm using R&M Looms and not the Made For You ones. The most "pain in the ***" part was fitting and making the wires. After you make your first set the rest are easier as you can just copy the original lengths.

Running the wires over the top is much easier than routing through the stock locations!

I bought the kit from thunder racing, I have no problems with it, I can't really say I car much for the look, but its better than burnt wires. It wasn't hard to install like said above the hardest part is assembling the wires. As for the passenger side, just run them up behind the altenator, and ps pump there is room and it was easier for me.

Thanks for the compliments! Thunder Racing sells "over the valve cover" kits with looms, wires, opti ends, and crimpers. If you're going to crimp your own wires I HIGHLY recommend using the Vise crimping tool and not the handheld one.
