Are OTVC Wires required for headers

Are otvc wires required for headers cuz I just bought bran new msds still in the box but I just got on the gp for jet hots please tell me I can use these still

Nope, You do not have to run the over the toppers.

They are not required, but I highly recommend them, not only is it a pain to run the wires under the headers, but it's a good possibility that you are going to end up with a burnt wire. If I were you I take the MSD's back and order the OVC kit from thunderracing.com.

I ran mine under the headers on my 97z without and problems, though the otc wires I know have are much better in terms of clearance between the wire and the headers, plus they look nicer.

With some headers OTVC wires are the only way to go...it just depends on the headers tho....mine it was required...

it pretty much depends on the headers to wether or not you need them. I used the stock location on all of mine except the 3rd one back on the driver side i had to go over the top on it.

A carefully zip tied and positioned set of wires can be used with headers without having to worry about burning them. I've been doing it for over a year now.

using Taylor wires in the stock looms on my '95 w/ MAC headers.

You don't nescessarily have to return the wires, just get the kit from thunderracing.com. I could be wrong because I don't know if the MSD wires fit in those taylor OTVC setups, but the Taylor wires are 8mm compared to the MSD's 8.5.
