Orange or Green Coolant for 95 T/A?

I am doing a flush, and I belive it is the Dextron (orange) stuff. I cant remember exactly, but I do recall the puddle of coolant in my floorboard from my heater core being orange.

Just want to double check, I know with these aluminum heads the orange stuff works best, but I am not sure since it has a iron block.

THanks,
James

I never had any real luck with the orange stuff...

Green is the way to go, as far as I'm concerned.

My 95 Formula is a late production car (5/95) and it came with green coolant, not Dexcool.

I heard a few 95 owners in here who mentioned theirs came with Dexcool, although I also previously thought GM didn't start putting it into these cars until the 97 model year.

Check the sticker on radiator cover. I'm pretty sure '95 and up are Dexcool. There's another thread about this.

Is there any advantage/disadvantage to running either.

I mean, if the car has Orange in it now, should I just go ahead and put orange in it, or would it be better to go with the green?

I know the orange is a bit more expensive, but I really dont care either way.
