When you say blow a vacuum hose off at the car wash do you mean you powerwash your engine bay?
If thats the case you may have fried your opti because of all the extra moisture in there.
IVe always thought it was bad news to do that to a LT1 because of our moisture sensitive opticraps?

could be way off here but if you have the stock cat on that car there is a good chance that puppy is clogged. Have you ever stuck a banana in someones tailpipe, I learned from Beverlyhills Cop Part 1 staring Eddie Murphy that it can in fact disable the car

Guilty as charged. I'm usually gentle around the alternator and electrical connections, but I do use the soap, so there's probably some possibility that I did some damage with the detergent. Anyone else powerwash under their hood?
