optispark upgrade

I have a 94 z28 and I am replaceing my optispark. I have heard of people upgradeing to the vented optispark (like the one on the 96). I need to know what I need for the conversion. So far I know I have to change the timeing chain cover and the pin that goes in the cam shaft to turn the optispark. Is this all I need to change.

You will have to replace the cam or have the front of it drilled out. for the vented opti drive.

Thanks for that link Shoebox,
I was having a little trouble understanding how the cam drives worked, that helped me understand the differences.
The recent opti install I did got me thinking about this.
