I have a '94 TA with 113K miles on it with the original optispark. The Optispark has survived two water pump baths, one at 29K miles and one at 113K miles. Anyone else have this good luck?

Of course I realize that as I write this I will be stranded on a dark country road with the dueling banjoes from "Deliverance" playing in the background and a destroyed Optispark lying on the ground.

 

I hate you, or envy you, one or the other.

 

I've been running on a used ebay vented opti for 3 years now! A lot of people thought I was crazy. I will be upgrading for peace of mind though.
