My car runs fine until it gets warm. It takes extended cranking to get it to startThen it sputters backfires and acts retarded and barely moves. But it doesnt do this until it gets warm if its cold or not allthe way warmed up its is fine is it the DIS.???? thanks

the same thing started with me yesterday.. It's not that bad cause I can still spin the tires, but mine sounds like the timing is going way off under 10% - 40% throttle, then it's ok from 40% - 80% (or so.. : /) then it's slightly spuddery from 80 on up.. It did the same thing when the last one went bad.. I thought I was gonna throw a rod getting to the shop.. It was so embarrassing.. People staring at me like I was crazy.. pop bang boom spudder knock ding pop bang pop.. It was scary.. Mine is still in the early "warning" stages of death. (I think).. It could be other things, but I doubt it..
