So I was replacing my opti and then I decided to do some housekeeping. Enjoy!

So you were replacing your opti and decided to remove the entire front end in the process?

Pretty much. I have always ben disgusted when I opened the hood. Everything was fading and getting scratched so I wanted to redo everything and start showing the car, finally! Basically doing everything I should have done many years ago when the LT1 went in.

There's an easier way to change the opti.

From the pics, you could run a rear "proven" distributor since your cowl does not cover the rear of the engine? This would get rid of the opti problem. Suggestion... I don't want to cause you any additional work.
