Anyone here gotten their optispark through autozone with the Lifetime warranty?

yes and they suck, i blew up 3 of them, 5 from o reilleys...go get one from gm...that one lasted forever...

I haven't heard good feedback regarding the part stores replacements. You'd probably be better off buying a GM one from one of these guys for a similar cost: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#Dal_and_Jason

I have the cap and rotor from them and it seems to be running just fine, but then again it only has 2 or 3 thousand miles on it.

GM Optispark.

I can’t see spending all the extra cash on a MSD distributor when the cap and rotor have an average life of 6 years.

If you guys are blowing up too many optisparks, you may have a clogged vent harness or it's disconnected at the manifold!

Check out the Dynaspark replacements we sell. They are upgraded to eliminate the problems the OEM ones have. We are trying to get a GP going too if we can get 5 people interested
