opti and starting problem
opti and starting problem
Alright well i realized my opti was degreed off and thats whhat was probably causing my car to act funny i went and bought a new opti at advance also my wires got a little damaged bought some stockers for the time being. Put new opti on and wires go for start. Battery is low on juice hook it up to wifes car and go for start again. CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK stop, just like instant nothing to it then i get crank crank crank again and then stop. At one put it was cranking pretty well and thats when i realized i have no spark. Now earlier i took the new opti apart to make sure it wasn't degreed off like the previous opti. It was good in that aspect but i realized that the rotor was painted black instant flag went up as in this won't send electrical current through what the hell. I looked it up and read that it was a protectant and decided that i'll give it a try anyways. Well no spark and intermittent crank what to do? Anybody else have a similiar opti rotor?
Re: opti and starting problem
Impossible to have an opti degreed'd "off." As long as you align the pin in the correct hole on the opti cloverleaf it is installed correctly. It sounds like you are severely overcomplicating things. Have you considered the ICM, security, other sensors, etc.?
