No, I just replaced my opti. When I removed the old one the o rings were missing> I guess they fell off. The new opti had new o rings already installed on the shaft. I would put rtv around the base of the rotor. It will keep oil from wicking up though the hub and getting on the opti senser. This is the reason mine failed.

The o-rings don't have anything to do with oil control for the opti.

I don't know the size, but the part numbers are listed on my site.

Yea I guess I'm going to have to go to the dealer tomarrow.
I've done a search Rob.
So I know whats up.
Just thought somebody would know the size and save me a trip to the dealer.

Mine were gone when I took my Opti spark out.
I fixed my old one and said to my self great it has the O-rings.
Yea till I clean the Opti spark and the fell apart.
I will get the new ones and I will post the size.

Thanks,

Chris.

Take your opti to Napa and just try some and see which ones fit. They usually have a pretty good assortment of O- Rings in the back.

beleive it or not! oil is pulled up though the hub on opti distr. I have seen it with my own eyes. I found this out from delteq. They told if you place some rtv at the base of the rotor, it will stop the oil from entering.

Thanks Steven.
I forgot.
I ordered some stuff from the dealer that I have to pick up today.
So I will get the ones form them and get some from the hardware store too.

Well I guess it did not help me to have a bad seal behind the Opti spark.
