opti questions

opti questions

I have an 94 LT1 and I converted to the 95 opti and I am using the 94 opti, do i need a 95 opti harness or am I good. I am not getting any ignition.

I did the same conversion, i needed a 95 timing chain cover and the plug that goes into the distributer is longer, it is a 3$part at your local dealer, you just have to pull the pins out of your old plug and put them into the new one, its a pain in the a$$ but it only takes a few minutes. i didnt have spark at first either and i started getting pissed and then my dad unplugged the opti and put a flash light in there and said, "that hole looks a little deep for that plug"

The harness going to the Opti is different on the vented units.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dude the 94 harness is too short, omg after all the testing geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
