i got a couple questions regarding optisparks...is there any difference between one for a 95 and one for a 97 because i bought one from a guy with a 97 camaro for my 95 firebird. im asking this because i just installed the opti and its running like it has a real nice lopey cam in it but it doesnt...and im really down on power. i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. Ive checked the connectors, and traced the wires and they all go to the right plug...i was also wondering if this might be a symptom of me having it on the wrong dowel pin perhaps... or doesnt it just plain not run when that happens?

looks like its time to throw the old one on to see if it helps...at least it still ran smooth...anyone else care to elaborate?
