opti question

I might be changing my opti tomorrow since i have my water pump off, and I'm changing the plug wires. but i need to know the difference between the non vented 94 and the vented optis. I have a 94, and am gonna be putting an opti from a 96 if I can, i know since its vented it has the vacuum line, and i have an intake elbow from a 96 which has the spot for the hose that I'm guessing runs from the opti. Also i know the plug is different but i have the pigtail for the 96 opti. Other than that what else is different? Thanks in advance for any responce.....

Re: opti question

you wont be putting that 95-up opti on with the stock front cover and cam drive. i just went ahead and put another stock 94 opti on my LT1 because it was going to be such a pain in the *** to upgrade. and i mean pain in the ***, because i got a barely used 95 opti from a friend for cheap, but it was just to much work to change the front cover and cam drive so i sold it and bought a new 94 style opti.
