Opti help needed

I am having my 96 LT1 rebuilt and the engine builder needs to know --on the opti if the notches on the back--if where it says #1 lines up with the notch with the small dot?

If you read the note in the pic, it says the drive can be in any position and the marks on the back of the opti are just there for reference. If the special notch on the drive is pointing to 1 and your cam dowel pin is in a matching position, that means you are at #1 TDC.

I would be a little scared of someone building my LT1 that did not know how to put it together...
