my cousin has a 93 z. He drove through a huge puddle so big there was water in his computer, like inside the metal cassing, he changed computers, he thinks the opti is bad but the car has issues.

1. With the new computer the car ran fine, but now there is no commmunication out of the diagnostic port with the scan tool.

2. It almost seems like there is a rev limiter on at 3k rpm.

3. speedo dont work

4. no poweer to ac.

My question is does he have maybe a deffective computer or is this all symtoms of opti
