Opti cap & rotor question....
Hello,
Just a question, for those that have tried replacing hte opti cap and rotor .... did you also replace the coil and coil wire as well? I've heard mention that the cap + rotor servicing does not work well on optis, but i've heard no meniton of upgrading or even replacing the coil. I'd like to hear some thoughts on this guys - thanks!

My opinion is, that for a vented opti[yours] it doesnt really pay to do cap and rotor, since the cap and rotor cost 125+ and a new GM opti [complete] is 190..
Early coils are weak, but the 96 is OK..
