Unhappy Is It The Opti?

For the past week Ive had problems with the car. Well, all the plug and wires and coil are replaced. Last night I bled the coolent system (replaced the coolent level sensor) and it was ready to run. My budds and I went for a cruise for about 30 minutes when it started stumbleing as before.
When I start the car it lopes like a huge cam is in it. Idles around 4 or 500. when I try and give it any kind of gas, it stumbles even more and dies. Since this is the case and considering that I have a new fuel pump and filter, I think I can say its not a fuel related issue. Also, when the car dies it smells like gas. Im assuming the cylinders are not getting fire. Another thing to consider is that before I fixed it, my water pump had a leak. Distributor? Everyone agree?

Did the problems start before or after the tune up?

Before. I thought the tune-up may cure the problem, yet it the back of my head was not expecting it. Some people told me that they thought it was the opti, I did the tune-up because it needed to be done anyway.

Everything is out of the car and I am 50% done. All I need to do is put in the new one and everything else. Anyone reccomend putting in new vaccume lines for the opti? How can I check them to see if they are bad?
