Opinions on Tires??

I was debating between the Nitto DR or the BFGoodrich DR. Which is better on the street and also occasional track visits? I know the Nittos have a longer life to them, but which will hook up better?

Im going with nittos for sure. Ive heard they are just as good on the street as any other tire almost, and they are great in the rain too. And hook almost just as good as goodriches.

The nittos have a 100 treadwear rating where as the bfg's have a 00 treadwear rating. Nittos will last longer for street driving, and yes are good in the rain where as the bfg's are not. I had to drive on my drag radials for a week while it rained cause i had a flat and had to order tires so I can vouch for them. I will be going with bfg's but they will strictly be for the track and they come a little bigger (255/50 as opposed to 245/50) So a little wider and taller. Hope this helps.

Ok, but the car never sees rain so thats not a factor. So you guys are saying that the Nittos last longer, but the BFG hook better?? How many miles can I expect out of these?
