Exclamation Opinions and ?'s on torq thrust 2's for my z

I am in the market for rims for my 94 z28. The set that has caught my eye are the american racing torq thrust 2's. The size iam looking at is 17x8. Could anyone tell me if this is too big, will it rub or damage anything. What would the backspacing and offset have to be in order to have the wheel fit correctly. This is a daily driver car and would want to know if bump stops are needed on a 17 inch wheel.

I'm not sure on backspacing, but the offset is 55mm. There shouldn't be any rubbing or anything if you use 245/45/17 or 245/40/17 sized tires.

I like the way these rims look on Camaros. And just about anything. I want a set myself. (alas just another poor college guy) The 17's aren't a problem. but you may want to look into getting 17 x 9.5 since they will fit, may as well go wider.

I'm using a set of AR TT II's on my 97 Trans AM. I went with the ones for a 86-96 vette. They stick out about a half inch more than stock, but they look great. They are 17x9.5 with 275/40/ZR17 tires all around. PM me if you want a pic or two.

I run 17x9.5's and have no problems. I recommend going with 18's since they will also fit.

I'm not exactly sure of the back spacing. They make the rims for the F-body.
