Opinions on Nitto 555 Extreme

How do you like them? Traction? Tread life? Ride quality? Would you buy another set?

I have 275/40's out back. They arent as 'great' as Id hoped so far. Its still been kinda cold out, to traction isnt great. Im sure with warmer weather theyll be ok. They suck in the snow, but what Z rated 275 doesnt. Rain isnt bad, but it will kick out easily with a little gas. I plan on moving these 2 up front and putting the DR's out back very shortly. Id buy them again, I think I got mine for $170 from dtd.com. Im sure they will shine a lot brighter when the ground warms up.

I run the 555 extreme's out front and the DRs in the rear... all 275/40ZR17s... the work great during the summer when the roads are nice and warm, but in the cold they tend to not grip as well, but most tires don't. These actually seem to stick better than the SZ50's that I had on the car before.

I have been real happy with mine. I was surprised how well they do when it is wet. I run the 285 in the back and the 245 in the front

my friend has them and they did not impress me. his factory tires on his mustang gt worked just as good for traction at the track.
