Question Opinions on BF Goodrich G-Force KDWS

I have an oportunity to pick up a set of KDWS's for a VERY good price....anybody run them? I know they're not the best, but the price looks very attractive.

I have them and are pleased with them.

I'd rather have had the KDWs, as it snows maybe 2x a year around here.

But, they have better traction both in cornering and at the strip than the General XP 2000's I had before. They are 2 yrs old and still have plenty of tread left, and when it snowed 7 inches by suprise last year around this time, I was able to make it home despite a total lack of road preparation by the road crews (no salt or sand...it all came down too fast). Of course other cars packed it down but my point is the S in the KDWS bailed me out that day.

In terms of strip traction, never cut better than 2.09 60ft on the generals, and first time out on the BFGs I cut 1.98's. I'm on ET streets now but at the time I was pleased with that improvement.

I think that they are an all around Great tire. One of my buddy has them on his Z and they do hold up very nice and for the price are really good as well.

They are awesome, most people who talk bad about them haven't tried them. I have had just about everything SZ-50's to F1's. In my SS my take off's are awesome and my second gear only chirps instead of bunning out again.

The other G-Force tires are awesome too but, the tend to wear very unevenly. I had 20,000 on my 245/50 16 KDWS's with perfect wear.

I had them on my last set of wheels that i sold to my brother. they were so much better than the crappy goodyear f1's i have now. The goodyears have the worst traction ever. The dry is good, but the wet is absolutely terrible. I lose the rearend just about every corner when it rains. The other day i ended up doing a 180 and ended up on the curb. Thankfully no damage. Anyway I put a good 10-12k on them before i sold them. I had prolly 15 track passes on them too, including burn out box. I loved the stiff sidewall on them and the rim protector, I'm going back to them for my next set of tires for sure or nittos extremes. Best ive used so far including bfg comp t/a, goodyear f1, goodyear hp ultra, bfg kdws.
