If you optispark has completley gone to ****s, will you be able to start it?

The reason i ask is because my 95 Z28 was stumbling really bad right after i would start it and and evry gear. i am trying to troubleshoot and now reconsidering if it is really the optispark.

 

i'm having the same problems, changed wires, plugs, coil, pretty much everything but the opti, i've got a bad intake oil leak, soi'm changing that gasket before i go to buy an opti. frustrating isnt' it?
