OMG is this car a piece of work or what???

serioulsy! im getting sick of this crap.

car has strong hesitation, now i have some rattling noise on dead cold start up, i think the tranny mount is now busted, seems to be losing coolant somehow...again, fans dont turn on when they are hot...but they do when i start the car!!!!! GM=great mistakes.
im exhausted on working on this thing. im exhausted on trying to figure out what is wrong with it anymore. i just want the damn thing to run good, and reliably, with no problems!

Always the little things. I think I'm finally getting mine ironed out, years later.

Keep the faith, man! I've been there, and I know it sucks, but in the end I got everything worked out and it was all worth it. These are awesome cars if you have the patience to keep them running right.

Sounds like you might have a catalytic converter plugged up. The rattle would be the insides loose and turned blocking the flow of exhaust.

I agree, a clogged cat can KILL performance and cause a lot of problems.

well if you wanna do it without paying someone.... When I had cats installed time before I didnt have my AIR system on the car, if yours is all you have to do is unplug the air pump, and they both blew out in a couple weeks, or you could make it run stupid rich for a while that might do it. Sounds like you should make sure first though....

High temp with loss of coolant and the car has **** performance sounds like a dead cat to me. That noise is a sign of a dead cat. kind of like some loose bolts in a tin cup. Cut the thing out and drive it. Find a kind muffler shop and chop that bad boy out. If your problems clear then just get a new one welded in.

Nah, actually I have been havin leaks with my AIR system on the driver side. But i think it is all taken care of now. I doubt my cat is clogged since it is only 2 years old... but i do get some rattling when the car is cold, but once it is warmed up it runs a lot better.

So, not sure if that is what the problem could be.
