symptoms:
(sometimes)boggs down in lower rpm when i let off the clutch
gettin horrible gas mil......8/9 m.p.g.
cars performance and acceleration keeps changing good to bad\
car feels like it doesnt want to go all the way sometimes when i get up on it(sometimes)
car sounds like it aint getting fuel in lower rpm, again SOMETIMES

WHAT COULD IT BE.......i have changed all the ignition in my sig recently and have a new fuel filter on it.......does my car just need a dyno tune to make it run right or what??????


ohh also before when i got the car (about year ago) that thing was a monster, whenever i use to get up on it in 1st gear the car would just go crazy and trow me back, now i have done headers, y-pipe and all the ignition in my sig plus the clutch and flywheel and the car fells like it got a little slower??????????????????

 

Have you checked your fuel pressure lately ???

The fuel pump may be going bad...

Have you done a fuel filter ??

 

Yes i did do a fuel filter

 

-check fuel pressure

-look for fireworks that could be caused by your headers

do the systems only accure in open loop, when the engines hot??
when's the last time you changed your opti??

 

thats what i was thinking ...opti.....neverbeen changed.....how much is it for the delteq system...is it alot better

I have a delteq. I cant tell you how much i love it. I got it for 595 from www.elitesparkplugs.com . The guys there are awesome. It didnt fix my problem (i had a broken valve spring), but i still love it. It is so simple, straight forward, and clean.

The instructions make it a breeze for install. It gives me peace of mind that i dont have to worry about my crappy ICM goin out because of the heat on the heads or the opti taking a crap on me because of water.

I highly recomend it and Pete (one of the designers) is an awesome guy as well.

Chalk up another vote for the Opti.

 

Do you have a cat? If so, maybe it is starting to clog up on you. Just a guess.

 

i have no cats........what else can it be besides opti

-possible bad 02's
- you said u have no cat so that cant be clogged
