ok you guys are my last hope

First off I own a 93 z28 6 speed all stock
Issue car first did not start while oi was at an amusement park
Took heat sink off car started on way home died while drriving wiggled icm fired up
Next morning put tighter bolts in seemed fine then died again
Autozone said I had a csps that is causing this I didn't know I had a crank sensor?
Then I noticed my security light was on unplugged box turned ignition back and forth
And ccar started and has yet died
Well I worse cased my situation and called my local dealer and they wanted 863 dollars for an opti!
Please tell me there is cheaper good opti sparks?
This whole situation has kinda bummed me out

Scratch that I did get a code 46
And I was told it would shut car off
So what resioistor do I need ?

you need to measure the resistance of the 'pellet' in the key then go to radio shack or similar store and get resistor(s) to match. it is all shown on shoebox's site.

Ok weird my key test was waay below what it is supposed to be

300 is all I got on my key chip

Ok my goof but I'm still below low value with 838 so do I go with the 852 range for the resistors

Probably, since that is the closest to what you have. You may have some measurement errors.

Like holding the test leads without slipping off lol? Well multi meter has 3 ohm settings I figured my k ohms was wrong with the 300 reading
I'm studying your layout on your site and searched on here so I do see I have some options
And I figured I could call my locksmith buddy to make sure I have the right number before I go cutting and soldering

Take the key to Radio Shack and have one of them measure the key while you hold it with their meter. You have a +-10% range. Go ahead and get the closest one while you're there.

The wires you are looking for under the dash have an orange wrap. There is no need to cut anything. Use the connector to put the resistor leads in.

Ok so if I a code 46 the resistor thing will be useless correct?
So what do I need exactly to fix code 46

I took knee bolster off and I never knew how much is hacked spliced in there

First off battery was dead so I put charger on battery and went to check that orange sleeve from the ignition well I tugged on it and all of a sudden something started buzzing then quit so I have no clue that was lol

Now there is a black box to the far left with carbide on it wires are all spliced and I seen two fuse blocks one has a 10 amp fuse the other has nothing but supposed to have a 5 amp fuse in it

This is a total bs mess. Oh there is this clear block if I touch it a red light flashes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the tdm is a clear box with a red and green light flashing sometime has some sensitivity screws on it. Its not mounted just laying behind console
I unplugged it while car running and nothing

No, the TDM is not that. Nobody is going to know just what you have under there. Apparently is all hacked up from an alarm install or whatever. It's going to take some schematics and head scratching to figure it all out.

Ok so does code 46 pertain only with the tdm?
When this all happned it cranked like a champ but. That was it which meant no injector signal from tdm to ecm?

That is why I asked resistors won't matter since my starter is still activated

When it cools down outside I'm gonna see if I can actually find this tdm
The box I'm talking about is factory though it says it on it do not tamper
