Ok what to do?

ive had a problem with the oil pressure dropping at wot, and sittign very low at idle.

replaced oil pump assembly ds. (since it was broke) didnt fix problem
replaced pump and pickup with M55 instead of M155 ( fixed problem a bit ) still drops though.
replaced oil sending unit and now it made it even worse at idle (sits at 10-15 psi and driving around 35 or so) Havent gone wot yet, cuase im scared.

Now im deciding wether to go back to the M155 with a new oil pan (caton, moroso, etc)

Or buy a windage tray and baffle for my stock pan?

Now on the second option. what do i need ( exact part number please ) for my stock oil pan?

Please let me know ASAP. Im thinking this could fix the problem for sure and if not, im thinking my bearings are toast on my new 355 forged motor.

When ever you suspect something wrong with a system like that and is viewed with electrical gages, back up what you see with a mechanical gage.

The only thing left is excess bearing clearances.

However, it does not appear that you have a problem. Thus the reason you have not "fixed" it.

The WOT is no baffle in the pan. The oil is climbing the back of the pan due to acceleration.
The low at idle is probably thin oil or clearances or both.
A good fix would be the Canton pan and good pump and some 20/40 oil.
Like Speedy said get readings with a mechanical guage.

ok. I am running 10/40 on my new engine. It ran fine for 1000miles then started to mess up. I will check with the guage today.

But replacing the sendin unit made it worse (duralast) why?

Maybe a bad sending unit, it happens. The mechanical gage will tell you the truth. Put the old unit back and see what the pressure indication does, check the wires to be sure nothing is a poor connection and nothing is pinched. Mechanical gage is the best thing to do next.

Should i take it back and get the money back OR should i just replace it. Im also about to order a windage tray and baffle.

i guess ill go buy the oil pressure guage right now. But i wouldnt need to change out my new pressure sending unit to check the readin do i? I just hook it up right above the filter right?
