OK to use hotcam w/ stock rockers?

Would it be alright to use the hotcam with stock rockers (but the LT4 springs)? Then down the road I'll upgrade the rockers...how would this compare to the stock cam without the 1.6 rockers?

Yes it would be ok to do this but I dont understand why you would want to. You aren't going to see as big of a gain from it. If I were you I would go with the hotcam kit that includes the rockers and can be obtained for less than $500. If thats to much save your money and do it the right way the first time around.

sure, nothing at all wrong with that. but, as stated b4, u wont get the same results from just a cam alone. u will get more lift if u use 1.6 rockers (=higher HP)

Yeah it would be fine to use the 1.5's with the HOT CAM. You just won't get the full potential out of the cam. I would just save up and buy the kit.

There is a thread over at LS1.com in the LT1 Forum that had dyno numbers and some more info.
