ok.. piston dish which side?

I know I feel like a dumbass, but I am putting the heads on and the pistons just do NOT look right to me... the dish is on the side facing the center of the block is this correct? I know it is, but someone please reinforce this so I can put on the other head lol... the valves just dont seem to line up w/ that at all... thanks again

to refrase - piston dish goes towards center of motor or towards the outside?

thanks

Re: ok.. piston dish which side?

You mean the valve reliefs? There should be an arrow on the pistons and it should point towards the lifter vally
