OK, I'm going with the cc306, 1.6 rr's, springs, and leaving everything else stock.

All I have is a catback right now.
What I'm looking for, is for someone to confirm that this cam will give me some decent gains and be ok for the engine.
I can't do headers first because I don't have the facilities to do it and I'm getting a good deal on installation for the cam.
Also, what kind of springs and rockers can I get that are good but reasonabley priced?
Thanks!

I would run come 987 springs, and get some comp pro mags. You won't see any huge gains with that cam with stock manifolds.

I have the 987's and I would recommend not getting them, If you do you will have to get the heads machined and use NSA rockers. I would get 918's

Thats false you don't need to machine the heads. Almost everyone runs NSA rockers so thats not a big deal.

I'd do the 918's too, better springs to start with anyways. Comp 987's are OLD technology.
Guys the 918's are so far ahead of the curve it's silly, lots of well know people in the cam bussiness are leary of them but in these cars they are perfect, and the results show.

ttt one more time.
I know I won't be near max potential for the cam but is it reasonalbe to assume that I'll still gain some good hp/tq gains?
There's so much info about different cams when I search that it's hard to get a definite answer.

You will most surely see some power from doing it; but just how much is hard to say. Almost everyone has headers by the time they do a cam, so it's difficult to say how much the stockers will be holding you back. I say go ahead and do it, but make headers a priority.
