Ok guys, I got my cam in... Which springs... SA rr's!!!

Ok, I just got my CC305 installed and I am installing some s/a 1.6 rr's on her when I'm putting the heads back on. However I have hit a speedbump on what springs to get? I have heard that since I have s/a rr's that I may be more limited or something? Could someone shed some light on this? I'm looking at making this buy in the next couple of days, so please help me get her running correctly again.

You won't be able to use beehives since they require +.050 locks.

Springs w/Stock Hardware

The Isky 235D springs ($100) will work. They are good to .550" and I think
you are in the .544" range with the CC 305. Crane 96802 ($145) and 99845 (?)
will also work. I hear the Crane 96000 series are pacalloy and the 99000s
are H-11. Manley NexTek 221423 ($200), 22410 professional H-11 (?), and
22409 ($100) street master springs are also in the stock replacement category.

You should make some calls to verify what you choose and also find out
what is recommended on the cam card.

Those are just spring prices. Many of the single 1.26" OD springs will work
with the stock hardware. You may as well get retainers, locks and seats
to matcht the spring you choose. Check the mfg web sites and do some
searching.
